Hi guys! Thanks for checking this out and I’m honoured that you want to know more about me…
I have known the ‘vintage scene’ since I was about 12 (I’ll let you guess how many years that is now!) as I was a lucky little girl and my Mumma had a great interest in the 1940’s. We were going to 40’s reenactment events from around this time and spent a few happy years with our annual camping holiday at Twinwood (way back when it was the Glenn Miller Festival!). My love for vintage fashions, styles, morals and music has grown ever since.
I am now lucky enough to have a partner (and Husband!) in vintage crime who loves these times gone by as much as me! Between us we have various 1940’s uniforms, civvie stuff, a WW2 Jeep, a 40’s James Comet Motorcycle, a lovely gramophone and many, many happy memories!
I wanted to start this blog to share with you my tips on vintage styling – 40’s & 50’s with a twist of modern along with my adventures at various vintage events around the country!
Give me a shout if there is anything you’d like me to cover in this blog or if you have any collaboration ideas – the vintage scene is a beautiful, positive, friendly and supportive place, so let’s keep that going!
